Mark Flannery joined the EquipmentShare team this month as part of our launch into Auckland's North Shore.
Mark is currently getting the Silverdale branch up and running. He is the key driving force for the branch opening in early February.
We asked Mark a few rapid fire questions so you can get to know him.
What’s your background?
I have been working in the general hire industry for 17 years starting as a general serviceman then working my way to branch manager.
I am looking forward to working with the heavy hire machinery, and the access range that EquipmentShare offers.
What are the values that drive you?
Honesty, trust and ownership are bigs ones for me. When managing a busy operational team I find these values really make for a great team that can consistently deliver for customers.
Personally, I enjoy being busy and working hard to achieve both individual and team goals.
What is something that people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?
Ensuring user manuals and instructions for use documents are accessible at all times is so as to bridge the gap between placing the hire and using the gear on-site.
That follow-up support and duty of care are important to support our quality brand and service.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my family, surfing, fishing and being outdoors!
